Goa, May 17 -- Good news for Goa Police as the State Police Control Room (SPCR) reported a significant drop in the number of calls received during the first four months of 2025. From January 1 to April 30, the SPCR handled 10,816 calls, down from 12,302 during the same period in 2024. This marks a decline of 1,486 calls, or an overall decrease of 12.08%.

Police officials attribute this decline to improved public safety, more efficient response systems, and strengthened policing strategies across the state.
