Goa, Dec. 5 -- A man arrested in Siolim for allegedly possessing 316 suspected LSD blots valued at Rs.7.9 lakh has been remanded to six days of police custody by the NDPS court. The accused, a native of Ratnagiri, was reportedly found carrying LSD blots weighing a total of 6.52 grams, according to police.

The investigation is currently underway under the supervision of Mapusa SDPO Shridevi B.V. (IPS) and North Goa Superintendent of Police H. Madkaikar. Police said further probes will focus on tracing the source of the narcotics and identifying potential links to larger drug networks operating in the region.
