Goa, Nov. 23 -- Suleman Khan alias Siddiqui, notorious for multiple land grabbing cases across Goa, has challenged the legality of his arrest in the High Court of Bombay at Goa. Siddiqui alleges that police failed to communicate the grounds of his arrest to him in writing, violating constitutional protections under Article 22(1) and procedural requirements of the CrPC. He seeks quashing of four FIRs registered against him at Mapusa, Valpoi, and Old Goa police stations, and demands setting aside of remand orders along with his release from custody.
