Goa, Nov. 3 -- CurrentChairman of the Goa Kannada Bhavan Nirman Samiti Siddhana Meti, addressing Tukaram Parab, urged unity and mutual respect among communities, stating that whoever is elected as sarpanch should be celebrated, as all are brothers. "We have voted for you; we have supported the Chief Minister," Meti said. He criticised divisive remarks labelling individuals as "Ghanti" or "Lamani", urging people to move beyond such words. Emphasising solidarity, he stated that during the upcoming Zilla Panchayat (ZP) elections, they would elect their representative and MLA. "If you contest from anywhere, our Kannadiga community will stand by you," Meti added, promising support for Parab in future elections.
