Goa, July 25 -- Bicholim MLA Chandrakant Shetye on Thursday strongly urged the government to take immediate and decisive action to address the growing menace of stray cattle on Goa's roads. Speaking during Zero Hour, the MLA emphasised the urgent need to enforce strict penalties on negligent cattle owners, improve road safety infrastructure, support local gaushalas, and involve local bodies and the community in ensuring safer roads - especially during nighttime, when poor visibility heightens the risk of accidents.
