Goa, Nov. 16 -- In a significant late-night rescue operation on Saturday, the Goa Crime Branch, in collaboration with the Nodal NGO ARZ and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), successfully rescued two girls from a hotel in Mapusa. The girls, natives of West Bengal, were found to be victims of human trafficking. Two traffickers were arrested in connection with the case, highlighting the ongoing battle against trafficking in the region.
Following their rescue, the girls have been admitted to the State Protective Home, where they will receive necessary care and protection.
