MAPUSA: Sesa Football Academy registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Calangute Association in the Goa Professional League (GPL) match played at Duler Stadium, here, on Thursday.

The all-important goal for the winners came in the additional time of the first session through Myran Pereira's header, from a slip off by Calangute Association's goalkeeper Aditya Sharma.

Both the teams having won their last GPL match with Sesa FA drubbing Panjim Footballers and Calangute Association getting the better of Churchill Brothers came strongly into today's match with a promise to return home with a win.
