Goa, Jan. 9 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday issued a stern warning to newly appointed government employees, cautioning them against seeking transfers closer to their homes. He said any such requests would result in postings even further away.

The Chief Minister was speaking after handing over appointment letters to 95 newly recruited government employees. Sawant emphasised that postings are already allotted after due consideration and, in most cases, within the same taluka.
