Goa, March 14 -- Security protocols have been intensified in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, in preparation for Holi. The Shahi Jama Masjid, along with nine other mosques situated along the planned procession route, has been shielded with tarpaulins. This initiative aims to prevent colors from reaching these sacred places and to uphold communal peace. More than 1,000 individuals have been subjected to a legal process that requires them to provide a bond or surety to ensure their good behavior as a precaution. Sambhal ASP Shreesh Chandra mentioned that, in addition to the Jama Masjid, ten other religious sites have been covered along the procession path.
