Goa, June 18 -- In view of anticipated public gatherings and to maintain law and order, the North Goa District Collector has imposed restrictions on assembly and movement in and around Junta House, Panaji, on June 18.
The order, issued under Section 144 of the CrPC, prohibits the assembly of five or more persons, protests, morchas, and processions within the jurisdiction of the Panaji Police Station. The directive also bans carrying arms, sticks, banners, placards, loudspeakers, or any article that may be used for unlawful assembly.
