Goa, Dec. 5 -- The Supreme Court has dismissed the Indian Reserve Battalion's (IRB) Special Leave Petition, effectively upholding the Bombay High Court's decision that confirmed the seniority of Goa's 2002 batch police inspectors. With this order, the officers retain their seniority and all consequential service benefits linked to it. The ruling marks a significant victory for the batch, ending a long-pending dispute over rank and promotions. The update was shared by Advocate Galileo Teles and Advocate Salvador Santosh Rebello, who represented the officers in the case.
