RAIA: Sporting Club of Davorlim registered a commanding 5-1 victory over Maina SC to enter the quarter-finals of 46th St Joseph Festival football tournament played at Dramapur ground, on Monday.

Leading 2-0 at the break, SC Davorlim extended their dominance with four goals from Cydroy Colaco in the 14th, 18th, 58th and 60th minute and one from Agnelo Colaco in the 37th minute.

Edwin Sequira netted the lone goal for Maina SC in the 52nd minute.

Earlier, Sao Jose de Areal stormed into the quarter-finals with a thumping 5-0 win over Raia Sporting Club. Sao Jose de Areal led 2-0 at the lemon break with goals coming from Bersal Viegas in the 18th minute and Azilton Viegas in the 25th.
