KAKODA-CURCHOREM, April 26 -- Sarzora Sports Club defeated Mandopa Sports Club 5-4 vie tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Holy Cross Cup, in memory of Albert J Fernandes organised by Holy Cross Sports Club, Kakoda, at Vodlemoll ground on Wednesday.
Sarzora SC took the lead in the 13th minute of the game through Tristen Lopes placement shot.
As the match progressed, Mandopa equalised through Prestly Gomes in the 58th minute. The teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Sarzora Sports Club netted through Merelio, Steven, Kidvon and Joyron, while Avalon, Mobin and Jason converted for the losing side.
Sarzora SC will now meet the winners of United Club of Nerul and PAX of Nagoa in the quarte...
