Goa, Jan. 11 -- Tensions ran high at the gram sabha held in Navelim on Sunday after a local questioned the panchayat over the installation of CCTV cameras within its premises. The issue escalated when the woman raised concerns about the placement of cameras, claiming they did not cover key areas such as the sarpanch's office and conference room. She alleged that the cameras only showed outside views. During the heated exchange, Sarpanch Paul Pereira was heard asking her to "shut up" in front of the gathering, triggering strong reactions from those present.
