Goa, Aug. 21 -- Goa Forward Party (GFP) President and Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai has sharply criticised the recent cabinet reshuffle, accusing the BJP-led government of being dominated by former Congress leaders. Sardesai claimed that the current dispensation no longer represents the political change once promised by the original BJP cadre.

Highlighting the composition of the cabinet, Sardesai pointed out that seven of the twelve ministers, including Digambar Kamat, Vishwajit Rane, Babush Monserrate, Ravi Naik, Subhash Shirodkar, Neelkanth Halarnkar and Mauvin Gudinho, have roots in the Congress party. He argued that this undermines the anti-Congress struggle that paved the way for the BJP's rise in Goa.
