Goa, Sept. 15 -- Truck owners from Sanvordem and Curchorem gathered at Sanvordem Tisk on Sunday to protest against ongoing instability and what they describe as discrimination in transport rates, particularly affecting local truck owners.

The owners claim they have been unjustly denied fair rates, a grievance they had already brought to the attention of the local police. Despite this, the issue remains unresolved. Adding to their frustration, contractors reportedly resumed transport operations on Saturday without consulting the local truck owners.

The protesting truck owners are demanding immediate intervention to ensure fair treatment and transparent transport practices in the region.
