Goa, Oct. 15 -- Reacting to the statements made by the Sanvordem Village Panchayat during a recent press conference over the alleged library fund scam, Sanket Bhandari has strongly refuted the panchayat's claims, accusing its members of lying and misleading the public by showcasing a wrong building as the village library.

Bhandari alleged that library materials had been shifted to another location, where there is no signage indicating it as a library. He added that the benches, which had been missing for nearly two years, were suddenly restored only recently, suggesting attempts to cover up irregularities.
