PANJIM, May 31 -- The villagers of Kasabwada, Jacquem, Gavaliwada and other areas on Saturday threatened to file a petition in the High Court due to the failure of PWD (Water Division) to keep up with the promise of solving their water problems.
Despite over 20 days passed since the time PWD assured to regulate water supply in the village, the department has failed in keeping its promise making the villagers continue to suffer.
It may be recalled that the villagers led by Amit Naik has complained of severe water problems faced by them.
