MAPUSA: Saligao United delivered a commanding performance to thrash CAC Cansaulim SC, 5-1, in a lopsided contest at the 24th Vagator Soccer 2025, held at the Vagator football ground, on Monday.

The match began with Saligao pressing high and they were rewarded in the 5th minute when Charnel Fernandes calmly slotted home into the far corner to give his side an early 1-0 lead.

Cansaulim found a way back in the 22nd minute after Agnelo D'Souza was brought down inside the box by Abusalia Havaldar. Arron Fernandes converted the resulting penalty to level the scores at 1-1.
