India, Nov. 27 -- In a major development in the Saligao double murder case, Director General of Police Alok Kumar confirmed that the investigating team has identified the prime suspect.

According to the DGP, the suspect had visited Goa four days prior to committing the crime, a detail that has provided crucial direction to the investigation. Police teams are now actively pursuing additional leads connected to the suspect's movements and possible accomplices.

Authorities have intensified efforts to piece together the sequence of events leading to the murders, as the probe continues to gather momentum.
