PANJIM, April 18 -- After the Salgaocar FC and Calangute Association Match was abandoned following some serious lapses in referee's decisions, the Goa Football Association has requested both clubs to complete the remainder of the game.
The Goa Football Association in their letter to both the clubs stated, "It was observed that admittedly there were lapses on the part of the referees who were in a confused state of mind. The referee also conveyed his final decision that it is a retake of the penalty due to encroachment on the part of the Calangute player."
The Goa Football Association letter further read, "In the given circumstances, in the best interest of the game, we request both teams to kindly cooperate in sporting spirit to complete ...
