Goa, July 22 -- The Goa Legislative Assembly on Monday witnessed intense scenes as the opposition raised strong objections over the state government's handling of the Mhadei river water diversion issue.
The ruckus broke out during Question Hour when opposition MLAs stormed the well of the House, demanding an immediate discussion on the diversion of Mhadei waters to Karnataka and alleging gross inaction by the government in protecting Goa's lifeline.
