Goa, Nov. 7 -- In a commendable display of prompt action under Operation Amanat, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Margao railway station successfully retrieved a mobile phone worth Rs.40,000 that had fallen onto the tracks.

According to officials, a passenger reported to the RPF/Madgaon that her phone had accidentally slipped while boarding a train. Responding immediately, Constable Omprakash Meena located and safely recovered the device from the tracks.

After completing the necessary verification and formalities, the RPF handed over the phone to the grateful passenger.
