The persistent roof leakage at the government complex in Mapusa, housing the offices of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Deputy Town Planner, and the PWD
has created a hazardous working environment for the staff.
The dire situation has prompted the employees to resort to covering computers and files with plastic sheets to protect them from damage. Alarmingly, there have been reports of electric shocks from devices exposed to water, thereby putting the lives of the staff at risk.
