Goa, Oct. 20 -- In a major setback for Indian football fans, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of Al-Nassr's squad travelling to Goa for their AFC Champions League 2 clash against FC Goa on October 22, according to reports by Al Riyadhiah.

Despite repeated requests from FC Goa to include the global icon, the 40-year-old Portuguese forward opted out, reportedly invoking a clause in his contract that allows him to skip fixtures outside Saudi Arabia. The decision, officials say, is part of his effort to manage workload ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
