Goa, Dec. 8 -- After the tragic fire at Birch by Romeo Lane in Arpora, which claimed 25 lives, attention has turned to the club's management. Questions have arisen over possible regulatory violations at their other property in Vagator.
The Vagator club, built in 2019, was previously reported for allegedly assaulting domestic tourists. Earlier this year, the Tourism department had ordered part of its structure at Vagator beach to be demolished for being illegal, but no action was taken.
These lapses have raised concerns about how the management might have avoided consequences despite multiple irregularities. Meanwhile, the Arpora club remains sealed as investigations continue.
