India, Nov. 26 -- The South Goa District Magistrate has issued a comprehensive ban on all forms of road-digging and road-shoulder cutting across the district in preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on November 28. The order aims to prevent any disruption to essential services and ensure smooth VVIP movement.

Government departments and agencies currently carrying out digging or road-cutting activities have been directed to fully restore all affected roads to their original condition by November 26.
