Goa, July 12 -- The much-anticipated Ro-Ro ferry service is set to commence operations on July 14, catering to growing transport needs in the region. However, Minister Subhash Phal Dessai issued a clear message to residents of Chorao, stating that if they continue to oppose the service, the ferry may be reallocated to areas where there is higher public demand.
"There is a strong demand for the Ro-Ro ferry from people in Panjim and Betim. If Chorao residents do not want the service, we will consider moving it to those who have formally requested it," the minister said.
