Goa, Oct. 30 -- The government has decided to name the upcoming Riverfront Project after veteran leader Ravi Sitaram Naik, recognising his immense contribution to the state's social and political development. Along with this, a proposal has been made to install a statue in his honour at either the PMC Garden or Kranti Maidan. Officials said the move aims to preserve Naik's legacy and inspire future generations to uphold his values of public service and integrity. The initiative has been welcomed by citizens and supporters who regard Naik as a symbol of dedication and leadership in Goa's political history.
