VALPOI, April 26 -- The residents of Nanus have demanded installation of a speed breaker at a junction near Saliya complex as many minor accidents have taken place on this busy lane.
Recently, an accident between two vehicles two women fell off from their scooter suffered injuries. Aggrieved villages gathered at the spot and blamed authorities for not erecting a speed breaker at the dangerous junction.
When contacted, Valpoi Municipal Vice Chairperson Parvin Shaikh said that as per complaints from public she has sent a proposal to install a speed-breaker at the junction but the proposal is pending with the authorities concerned.
