Goa, Jan. 6 -- A delegation of the Goa Association of Resident Doctors (GARD) met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to express gratitude for approving the long-pending stipend hike for postgraduate MD/MS resident doctors at Goa Medical College (GMC). The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for addressing an issue that had remained unresolved for several years, despite repeated representations. Doctors said the revision would provide much-needed financial relief to resident doctors who work long hours while managing academic responsibilities.
