Goa, May 5 -- In light of increasing tensions with Pakistan following a deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized his responsibility to safeguard India's borders and provide a strong response to any threats.

Speaking at an event in Delhi, Singh stated that it is his duty to collaborate with the armed forces to protect the nation and deliver a "befitting reply" to those who attempt to harm India's security. He stressed the importance of standing firm in the face of aggression, particularly in response to the recent attack that claimed the lives of 26 tourists.
