Goa, Jan. 20 -- Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has assured that Dabolim Airport will continue to operate civilian flights, addressing concerns over a possible Navy takeover. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said issues raised by local residents and MLAs regarding the airport's future were conveyed to the Defence Minister during a meeting in New Delhi. The delegation included Minister Mauvin Godinho, Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade and MLA Nilesh Cabral.
