The first showers of the monsoon season caused minor damage at the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) taxation Section, soaking several files. However, Chairperson Damodar Shirodkar assured that there was no cause for concern.

Speaking about the incident, Shirodkar admitted that around seven files were affected by the rain but clarified that these documents were being dried and would not cause any long-term issues.
