PVC Parra registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Assnora United SC in the St Anthony's Cup football tournament played at Siolim ground, on Sunday. Both sides played almost on equal footing thus unable to break the deadlock in the first half. The breakthrough came in the second half through individual brilliance. Shadab Shaikh produced a spectacular solo effort, running from the centre of the pitch to score the decisive goal for PVC Parra.
