MAPUSA: PVC Parra managed to edge past FC Tuem by 2-1 margin and clinch the Goa Football Association's Division II League Bardez Zone title in the match played at Duler Stadium, here, on Sunday.

After Sunday's match, PVC Parra (20 points) and Vagator PYSC (19 points) have both qualified for the play-offs. FC Tuem (6 points) and Benny XI (7 points) have been relegated to the GFA's Division III League.

In a thrilling encounter, both the teams played tooth and nail till the final hooter.

All the goals came in the last quarter of the match with FC Tuem stunning PVC Parra with a 79th minute goal from the boots of Akram Yadwad, 1-0.
