Goa, March 28 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed the establishment of a temporary government in Ukraine, supervised by the United Nations, to oversee new elections and facilitate peace negotiations. Speaking on Thursday in the northern port city of Murmansk, Putin suggested that such a regime would be "trusted by the people" and could pave the way for formal agreements to end the ongoing conflict, which has persisted for over three years.
