Goa, July 18 -- Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju will be sworn in as the new Governor of Goa on July 26 at a formal ceremony to be held at Raj Bhavan, Panaji. He will succeed PS Sreedharan Pillai, who has held the post since July 2021.

The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be attended by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, cabinet ministers, senior officials, and dignitaries. Raju, a veteran political leader and former Union Minister, brings extensive administrative experience to the role.
