Goa, July 5 -- Social worker Chandrakant Gawas, together with concerned residents, submitted a representation to Ward Councillor Yatin Kamurlekar highlighting the problems caused by a public dustbin placed inconveniently in their area.

Responding to the request, the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) acted swiftly and relocated the dustbin to a more suitable spot, reducing the inconvenience faced by the community.

Gawas thanked MMC Chairperson Girish Borkar and the municipal staff for their prompt action. He also praised the council's door-to-door garbage collection service, noting that it has played an important role in improving cleanliness and hygiene in the locality.
