Goa, June 24 -- A protective wall built along the Anmod-Hemmadga road, a key route connecting Goa and Belagavi, collapsed just 15 days after completion, raising serious concerns over construction quality and public safety.
The wall, constructed at a cost of Rs.10 lakh, was meant to safeguard commuters from landslides and road erosion along the ghat section. However, the structure gave way during recent rains, putting daily road users at risk and forcing authorities to reassess the area for further vulnerabilities.
