Goa, Sept. 4 -- The controversy surrounding the Margao Municipal Council's (MMC) recruitment process has intensified, with Prof. Joan Rebello demanding a full fledged inquiry into what she alleges are deliberate lapses designed to deprive deserving candidates of job opportunities.
Prof. Rebello criticized the MMC for its failure to ensure a transparent and accessible process cess for all applicants.
She pointed out that if the Council found it ex-pensive to mail admit cards to every candidate;
it could have simply sent them via email "at prac-tically zero cost." Instead, she claimed, the Council opted for ordinary post - a move he says created opportunities for vested interests to withhold ad mit cards and prevent de-serving candidates...
