Goa, Oct. 9 -- A private jet skidded off the runway seconds after taking off from the Mohammadabad airstrip in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad on Thursday, officials said.
The aircraft, bound for Bhopal, veered off course and slid for nearly 400 metres before coming to a halt on a grassy patch. Fortunately, all onboard escaped unhurt.
According to sources, low air pressure in the tyres might have caused the incident. However, a detailed investigation is underway.
The jet carried top executives of Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients Private Limited , Deputy Managing Director Ajay Arora, SBI Head Sumit Sharma, and BPO Rakesh Tiku, along with pilots Captain Naseeb Bamal and Captain Prateek Fernandes.
