Goa, Nov. 4 -- Passengers faced a terrifying ordeal on the Chimbel-Old Goa bypass when a private bus recklessly chased another, endangering dozens of lives. The bus, packed beyond capacity, sped through the busy stretch with both doors left wide open, while some passengers were seen clinging to the edges. Eyewitnesses reported that the drivers appeared to be competing for passengers, ignoring safety norms and traffic rules. Locals expressed outrage over the incident, demanding strict action against both bus operators for their negligence. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter and take measures to prevent such dangerous behaviour in the future.
