Goa, May 30 -- Goa's tourism landscape is poised for a massive transformation as Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte unveils a series of ambitious projects aimed at expanding the state's appeal beyond its iconic beaches. At the heart of this vision is the Rs.120.97 crore Town Square project in Porvorim - a heritage-themed public space spanning 11,000 square meters. Designed to serve as a cultural and community hub, the Town Square will include features such as a market court, heritage court, clock tower, and performance zones, offering a vibrant platform for local artisans and cultural entrepreneurs. The project is expected to be completed by March 2026, with Rs.90.74 crore funded by the Central Government and the remainder by the state.
