India, Feb. 3 -- Porvorim Police arrested a 19-year-old youth during a drugs raid conducted on February 2, 2026, and seized ganja worth approximately 25,000. According to Porvorim Police Inspector Rahul Parab, an FIR has been registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 against the accused, Sahil Mirza, son of Imtiaz Mirza, a resident of Haliwada, Brittona, Bardez, Goa. Police said the accused was found in possession of a polythene bag containing 250 grams of ganja. He was subsequently arrested, and further investigation is underway.
