Goa, Dec. 20 -- BJP candidate Premnath Dalvi in Nagargao claimed that opposition polling agents were largely absent at booths, boosting confidence in his party's victory, he told Herald TV. Voting turnout increased steadily by afternoon, with Nagargao recording 40.85%, Honda 41.68%, and Kerim 44% of eligible voters casting their ballots. Dalvi expressed optimism as polling continued, noting that the absence of opposition representatives could influence the voting process and strengthen the BJP's position in the ongoing Zilla Panchayat elections.
