Goa, March 27 -- A police complaint has been lodged against a Physical Education (PE) teacher at a school in Curchorem, accusing the teacher of physically assaulting a Class 9 student. The incident allegedly took place after the student misbehaved and created a disturbance in the classroom.

Reports suggest that the student suffered significant neck injuries as a result of the alleged assault. An FIR has been registered, and the investigation is currently underway under the supervision of PSI Mayur Panshikar. Authorities are working to gather more details and ensure justice is served.

The incident has raised concerns about student safety in educational institutions, and the police are continuing to look into the matter.
