The Ponda Municipal Council (PMC), in collaboration with traffic police, has launched an operation to clear abandoned vehicles that have been occupying prime parking spaces in the city.
This initiative follows a municipal resolution in which PMC officials identified 22 abandoned vehicles and issued notices to their owners. While some owners voluntarily removed their vehicles, many left them in public spaces, obstructing traffic and reducing available parking. The PMC has now taken action to clear these vehicles.
