Goa, May 12 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear to US Vice President JD Vance that India's response to any further Pakistani attack would be "more forceful, stronger, and devastating" before Pakistan sought peace. During their phone conversation, Vance relayed alarming US intelligence about a high risk of escalation, urging dialogue and de-escalation. Modi, however, firmly stated that if Pakistan initiated any aggression, India would retaliate with even greater intensity, emphasizing that India's response would be "harder, deeper, and bigger" to any Pakistani misadventure.
