Goa, Oct. 13 -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. PM Modi welcomed her visit, highlighting its potential to give fresh momentum to the India-Canada bilateral partnership. Recalling his June visit to Canada for the G7 Summit, Modi emphasised the importance of closer cooperation in trade, energy, technology, agriculture, and people-to-people exchanges. He also conveyed warm wishes to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and expressed anticipation for upcoming engagements between the two leaders.
